our story
In response to a customer disturbed by night-time noises, a Paris pharmacist developed plugs made from wax and cotton known as “sourdines” or “mutes”. It was 1918 and they met with immediate success. The pharmacist found new associates and the company Quies was founded. The famous Quies wax earplugs, in their box decorated with a sparrowhawk, saved the nights of thousands of people.
Ever since the wax and cotton plugs, Quies has always had the same philosophy: to find gentle solutions so that everyone can feel comfortable in their surroundings.
